"Everything's Gonna Be Alright" - Johnny Lee

“Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” is the newly released title track and first single from Johnny Lee’s new album, which is coming out on February 12th.  When Johnny co-wrote this song 2 years ago, he had no idea how important it would become today.  It is a song that offers some much needed encouragement to people as they continue to navigate everyday life during trying times.

Each verse of “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” presents one of life’s disappointments, from not winning, to having health issues, to coping with bad news and troubled times.  The chorus, besides sending its encouragement that “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” contains another stand out lyric—“Brand new day brings a brand new light.”  With so much negativity in our current world, the lyrics of this song help to inspire each person who takes the time to reflect upon them.

The instrumentation of this song, which includes a fiddle and a pedal steel guitar, is right out of the classic country playbook.  The perfect combination of Johnny’s voice with these instruments makes “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” a soothing anthem of hope for our times.  The video does a good job of showing how each situation that is presented in the song transitions into better times.

Music is such a powerful medium to express so many emotions.  In the case of “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright”, Johnny Lee finds a way to illustrate through his gift of song that people can rise above the many difficult situations they may find themselves in.  It is just the message that needs to be heard and absorbed as we move from moment to moment and from one day to the next.
